NORDIC FILM FESTS ANNOUNCE CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR 2010-2011 NORDIC FILM FEST SEASON


SEATTLE, MINNEAPOLIS, AUSTIN – Today, the Nordic Film Fests announce call for entries for feature, short, and documentary films.

The 2010-2011 Nordic Film Fests are held from September 2010 to May 2011 and span Seattle, Minneapolis, Austin and other cities in the U.S. Feature films, short films, and documentary films are eligible for participation. Films should be made in and/or have a theme originating from the Nordic countries (Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Norway, Sweden). Short films should be under 40 minutes in length and documentary films less than 60 minutes.


The Nordic Film Fests do not charge a submission fee as the main objective is showcasing the beautiful and creative works of Nordic films.


Nordic Film Fests in the U.S.

The Nordic Film Fests in the U.S. are the premier showcase for Nordic films in America and are a great way to gain exposure for your film across this vast country. Held annually in Seattle, Minneapolis, Austin, and several other American cities, the festivals attract a diverse audience of critics and film fans. The Nordic Film Fests have introduced American audiences to some of the most innovative and diverse set of Nordic films of the past decade, including As it is in Heaven (Sweden), The Last Farm (Iceland), Flame & Citron (Denmark), and Harvest Time (Finland).
